John Simon is the Chief Customer Officer at nbn.
He joined nbn in January 2013 and is responsible for all aspects of product management and sales. His accountabilities include developing and managing the life cycle of nbn's product portfolio, and ensuring that it is aligned with industry needs and underpins the nbn corporate plan.
Within his portfolio, he is also accountable for delivering nbn's revenue targets and customer experience goals of its key channels to market, the Retail Service Provider (RSP) community. Mr Simon is an established executive in the converged ICT market, with over 30 years' experience.
Mr Simon spent the last 11 years working for Singtel Optus in various roles including Managing Director of its Corporate, Government and Key Account Division (Optus Business). He also had responsibility for Optus' SMB division and prior to moving to nbn was the Managing Director of Strategy, Transformation and Customer Experience for Optus.
Prior to Singtel Optus, Mr Simon worked in the ICT industry for a range of companies including Telstra Multimedia and General Electric in various executive leadership roles. Mr Simon holds an MBA from the AGSM (University of NSW, Sydney).
