nbn has reviewed its rollout information to align with the policy of the current government. This is an ongoing process and further information will be provided when available. Maps are updated weekly. Rollout areas and boundaries are subject to change as construction planning is finalised.
Service available means the premises is passed by the active network and services may be ordered and purchased from a telephone or internet service provider.*
Build commenced means that nbn has issued contract instructions to construction partners so they can commence work in this area.
Build preparation means that nbn contractors are undertaking pre-construction activities to deliver nbn™ high-speed broadband in this area, which may include readying Telstra's pits and pipes for nbn use.
Not currently available: Building the nbn™ network hasn't commenced in your area as yet. The nbn™ network is designed to provide Australians with access to affordable high-speed internet and telephone services, regardless of where they live.
Service unavailable: The nbn™ network is available in your area however additional works may be necessary to allow a service to be connected. Please call the nbn Contact Centre on 1800 687 626 to find out when service may be available.
Other fibre provider (Adequately served) means the premises can already access fast broadband services through an existing fibre network. You can find out more by reading the Government's 'Adequately Served Policy'. Note that these network boundaries may be subject to change.
*nbn is replacing most of the traditional landline networks for phone and internet services, including copper and the vast majority of HFC networks. Services provided over existing fibre networks (including in-building, health and education networks) and some special and business services may not be affected.
