What monitored fire alarm and lift emergency phone services are eligible for deferred disconnection?

The disconnection date for identified and registered monitored fire alarm and lift emergency phone services (in areas that will reach the disconnection date prior to 1 July 2017 or have already reached the disconnection date) has been deferred until 1 July 2017. A service is eligible for this disconnection deferral arrangement if it is:

  • Registered on nbn’s Fire and Lift Register
  • The number is subsequently notified to Telstra

Other monitored fire alarm and lift emergency phone services in areas that are not yet ‘ready for service’ or will not reach the disconnection date until after 1 July 2017 will be disconnected under business‑as‑usual arrangements. This information is correct at the time of publication.
