Damon Cavalchini is Senior Strategy Transformation Manager at NBN Co.

Covering an area that stretches from Ingham to Mount Isa to Goondiwindi to Redland City, Damon spends a lot of time talking with people from all aspects of Australian life. As well as facilitating the physical rollout of the nbn™ broadband access network with Councils, his role is to assist communities to fully understand the nbn™ access network, and the benefits and opportunities it brings.

In his spare time, Damon pretends to write fiction and has appeared in several anthologies. His short story, Renfield’s Wife, published in 2011’s Dead Red Heart, was set in Queensland’s Daintree Forest and made Ellen Datlow’s Honourable Mention list for the year’s best horror.

If you really want to lose a few hours, ask Damon about the state of the Australian cricket team.
