While you don’t need to have an active service over the nbn™ network, your address must be ‘ready to connect’. We will let you know if your address is not eligible for the nbn™ Technology Choice Program.
Due to the intricacies involved in generating and processing quotes for complex premises, we are only accepting applications for some single premises at this time.

The nbn™ Technology Choice Program is available for locations that are ‘ready to connect’ or connected to the nbn™ network. We use addresses in our system to determine your connection status and the costs to change to nbn™ Fibre to the Premises (FTTP).
There may be times where certain addresses don’t register in our system. If you cannot find your address in the online quote form, please contact a phone or internet provider. The provider will contact nbn to assist in registering your address.
While we’re unable to confirm when these upgrades will be available or if it will be available at your exact location, applications for the nbn™ Technology Choice Program will continue to be accepted for eligible locations.
It may take approximately six months or more to upgrade to nbn™ Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) through our nbn™ Technology Choice Program. This could be a quicker way to connect to our wholesale higher speed tiers, depending on when you apply.
Please note that there are build costs associated with every nbn™ Technology Choice application and you’ll have the opportunity to review these costs before choosing to proceed with your application. If you choose to proceed, the build costs are not refundable should nbn choose to further extend fibre deeper or choose to separately upgrade the nbn™ network in your area as part of the separate upgrade program.
